The Fed statement has been released indicating another quarter point rate hike to 4.5%. There was one change in the statement from the December statement worth noting. "Further policy firming is likely to be needed…" was changed to "Further policy firming may be needed…" That implies it may be needed, or may not. The Fed may be done. They're passing Bernanke the perfect situation of being able to go either way.
